Our chickens are raised humanely and slaughtered humanely. They are never fed antibiotics or hormones. We have a good mix of commercial breeds and heritage breeds. However, all of our chickens are slower growing chickens than the commercial strains that you find in grocery stores. Which means that they can mate naturally, fly, and do not have the leg problems commonly associated with the commercial breeds. They all enjoy sunshine, grass, and fresh air.
