Fresh, locally raised turkeys available for your
Thanksgiving or Holiday dinner.

Bourbon Red - Named for Bourbon County in Kentucky's Bluegrass region On the Watch list

Narragansett - named for Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island
On the Threatened list
Heritage turkeys weigh, on average, 12 pounds dressed. They are more proportionate than the larger or commercial breeds. They have smaller breasts and therefore less white meat. What they lack in size they more than make up for in flavor.
If you are interested in a heritage turkey but need more than the average 12 pound turkey consider purchasing two of them. That also gives you the opportunity to cook them two different ways. Roasted, fried, grilled or brined, anyway you cook them you won't be dissapointed.
Heritage turkeys - $6.00 per pound
